AAA Administrative Assistant

The Albemarle Commission Area Agency on Aging (AAA) is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual for the position of Administrative Assistant. This position performs administrative duties related to the service delivery for older adults and their caregivers; conducts outreach; provides information and assistance to individuals seeking services; and performs a variety of administrative functions to support the Director and overall mission of the AAA. Successful candidate must be well organized, detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to use Microsoft computer applications effectively.  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Services field preferred; two (2) to three (3) years of administrative support and/or training required.
