Contractors Needed!

The Albemarle Commission is seeking Contractors to participate in the bid process for the Housing Rehabilitation program. The Albemarle Commission administers the NC Housing Finance Agency Essential Single Family Rehabilitation Loan Pool (ESFLP) funds from the HOME Investment Partnership program as well as the Urgent Repair Program (URP) funds provided by the NC Housing Trust Fund in the counties of Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Dare, Gates, Hyde, Pasquotank, Perquimans, Tyrrell, and Washington.

Contractors interested in participating in the bid process for either of these programs should contact Ryan Albertson, Community Housing Coordinator. Some projects may require contractors to be Certified Renovators working for a Certified Renovation firm or be a Certified Lead Abatement Contractor. All participating contractors must provide a copy of their current RRP certification, firm RRP certification, insurance policy, resume as well as fill out an application to be placed on the contractor registry.
